Pastel Jacket:
I featured this in my last blog post which is why I won't bore you about it but my lovely Nan treated me to this on Monday and I've worn it pretty much every day since.

Striped Cardigan:
I bought this from Warehouse a few days ago after lusting after it for weeks and weeks! It's just so me, I love it's relaxed style and it will be perfect for the upcoming summer nights when it's a too hot for a jacket but a bit too chilly for without.

Pink and White Flats:
I've been after a pair of nudey coloured flats to replace my beloved River Island ones that are on their last legs and these seemed perfect, although after wearing them yesterday I can tell they're gonna take some time and patience to break them in.

Sandals:
How gorgeous are these and especially for Primark! And to make it even better they were only £6! Every Summer I buy myself one expensive pair of sandals that tend to last me a few summers and then I buy a couple of jazzy cheaper pairs like these, although I have fallen totally head over heels with these and may have to run to Primarni and grab a few pairs the same for when these ones pop their clogs!

Babyliss Heated Rollers:
I've been considering getting some heated rollers for  quite a while now although I've never had much confidence in them, as my hairs pretty thick and heavy so the weight of it pulls out the styling a lot of the time. I tried these a couple of nights ago and left them in for probably about 40 minutes and when I took them out I had beautifully big 70's curls, although they didn't stay in for very long at all. I think over the next few weeks I'm gonna try them out in different ways then maybe do a review of the best ways to use these. Apart from the fact I haven't perfected getting the curls to stay yet, they did only cost me £29.99 so for (I think it was) 24 rollers including clips and pins you really can't complain!

Necklace:
You know when you don't fancy wearing a big statement necklace but you look a little bit too plain without anything, well I thought that this necklace was perfect for those situations and at only £1.99 it was a complete steal! They're also great to go with birthday presents etc to give it a little bit extra.

Pink Comb:
This is Lee Stafford from Boots and it has these awesome little teeth at different lengths dotted about giving this comb a great density making it great for backcombing and seeing as I managed to snap my old one a new one was much needed.

Black Comb:
The second comb I bought was Trevor Sorbie and its a teasing comb, one end has a teaser and the other just a regular comb, making it a perfect match for my heated rollers, one end to section and the other end to seperate the curls after they have set.

Hair Bobbles:
A girl I work with has some of these and I thought they were adorable, they even look cute on your wrist when you're not wearing them. Although it seems with my hair that's all they are good for, my hairs so thick and heavy they just aren't elastic-y enough to tame my mane!

Hair Band:
Lastly, who remembers these!? I'd totally forgotten about them until I saw them in Superdrug and I just had to get one. Great for chill days although I probably won't be wearing it out!

Jacket - Dorothy Perkins
Jeans - Topshop
T-shirt - Warehouse
Scarf - Alexander McQueen
Earrings - Vivienne Westwood
Bag - Mulberry Bayswater
Watch - Michael Kors
Bracelet - French Connection

How cute is this jacket?! It looks kinda frumpy here but I love it so so much, it's got such a soft feel (although it does seem to pull super easy!) and its the perfect style and thickness for the transition from Spring to Summer. I paired it with some blue Topshop jeans and a Warehouse tee which I've not stopped wearing since I bought it a few weeks ago. It's just so easy to throw on, and its little shoulder pads and zip at the back of the neck make it so much less boring than a regular kinda vest top.
Not to forget my insanely gorgeous McQueen scarf that was a Christmas present this year, I don't tend to wear it in the day unless I'm going for a meal of something due to the fear that I'll snag it on something :(
Lastly I'm sure you've noticed my incredibly adorable phone case! After dribbling over the Moschino one for months I decided that I just couldn't bare to part with forty smackers for a phone case. And although I NEVER do fake handbags etc this is actually a dupe from ebay! It is pretty much EXACTLY the same as the Moschino one and it cost me less than £10 including postage! Check it out here

Neon clash

Jeans - Topshop
Camisole - Warehouse
Blazer - Topshop
Heels - Topshop
Clutch - River Island
Bracelet - French Connection
Watch - Michael Kors

Excuse how naff the photos are (I was already running late, oops). I  love clashing colours like this! As you can probably tell I do tend to wear a lot of dark colours especially in the day but at night I like to add a little pop of colour. I bought this clutch in the River Island sale for £15 and this is probably only it's second outing as i'm a bit of a loser and don't really go out much anymore. But although it's only seen the outside world a handful of times it's gorgeous and it looks pretty even in my wardrobe, I also love the fact that one side is ponyskin and the other leather; just makes it so unique. My blazer is from Topshops summer range last year and when it wasn't too hot to wear it I hardly took it off, definitely an investment piece. You can't see my cami properly but it is so gorgeous it has lovely little cross-over straps and is going to be perfect for when the sun finally decides to show it's face, but for now i'm just trying to inject a bit of colour into these gloomy nights.

When i'm shopping I do generally tend to make an effort, it's very rare that you'll see me in a mall or in birmingham in lazy clothes. I had my McQueen scarf for Christmas this year after coveting them since about the age of thirteen. I tend to wear it like this more than in any other way because I always get scared that it'll slide off if it's just draped around my neck. I usually pair it with a white blouse, although I thought i'd mix it up this time a little bit, and I think it works quite well. I also wore plain navy jeans and my zara faux leather jacket (as usual). My watch just came back from repair too which means it's permanently glued to my wrist again and the weekend I also bought this gorgeous little gold plated bracelet from the French Connection sale, they had quite a few similar little gorgeous dainty things so definitely swing by and have a look! These shoes! How gorgeous are they! I've been lusting after Russell & Bromley loafers for quite a while now but I can't bear to blow £100+ on a pair  of flats at the moment, so I got these beauties from Clarks. Though Clarks shoes are supposed to be super comfy and not rub, these made holes in my feet! And I was in total agony that ended in me buying socks to wear to stop them rubbing so much, so right now I'm in that horrible stage when other shoes have just rubbed you even your comfies are rubbing where the others have hurt. Lastly I topped off the outfit with my beloved Mulbs and a nude lip.

MAC Haul

I've been a terrible blogger recently and haven't posted in  a little while so I'm just catching up tonight so the next few posts won't be very long, mostly just outfit posts from the past week although I am dedicating this post to the naught little trip I took to MAC recently.

Whilst on the hunt for the perfect brush for my Chanel Tan De Soleil I ventured to MAC with credit card in hand (100% a bad idea!) So I asked one of the sales assistants which brush she would recommend to use with the bronzer and she suggested this one, I was dubious at first because the bronzer is a cream rather than a powder so I thought it would work better with something more dense, but I tried it anyway and unfortunately I was right. Although after splashing £33 (I think) on a brush I knew it had to be put to good use. Luckily it worked amazingly with the skinfinish powder that I bought too (PHEW!)
Anyway I've pictured it here against my Real Techniques Stipling brush just for you to get an idea of the length/shape etc. although it is nowhere near as dense as my Stipling which I use to apply my foundation.

I also couldn't hold myself back from buying this lipstick; after seeing how gorgeous it looked on so many other gorgeous girls' blogs. I did really like the colour of this although I did think it looked a little bit cakey on the lips if you applied even the slightest bit too much and I also think it should definitely be worn with a liner like a shade or half a shade darker as it is just sooooooo pale!

Lastly I bought this from the same store in 'Soft and Gentle'. I was a teeny weeny bit gutted after my mass search for this same product in the colour 'Lightscapade' I finally found it on display in my local debenhams, although when I asked the girl for it she told me they had none and that they'd only had 6 delivered from the time that they even opened the concession (I mean why put it on display if you have no stock!?) but yeah she convinced me to try the 'Soft and Gentle' instead so I just thought i'd give it a go and I love it! As my highlighter has ran out atm and there's no more in stock I've been using this as a temporary replacement, it's great if you like a more gold-y coloured highlighter rather than like a beige or a silver colour (if that makes sense) This could definitely be used as a bronzer if you wanted although I like my bronzer quite dark and my highligters sparkly so this is awesome, definitely the best of the three!

THE cardigan

Marabou fur cardigan - origionally Topshop, purchased from ebay
Black shirt - H&M
Indigo Leigh jeans - Topshop
Beige flats (not pictured) - River Island
Necklace - Warehouse
Frilly snake bag (not pictured) - Vivienne Westwood

So Thursday was my wonderful mother's birthday and on Friday my family, a few friends and my boyfriend all went to the dogs in Birmingham. I had a wonderful night although I came home minus £15.00 :( I also have to apologise for the rubbish quality photos again!
Anyway, anyone who has been to the dogs will understand my pain with choosing an outfit because by no means is it a posh place, but I couldn't bear to go out and make no effort. So, yeah, I have been lusting after Topshop's marabou fur knitwear ever since they hit stores, I came so close to purchasing the grey cardigan in the Bullring but wussed out as it was £80/85! So it continued to play and my mind and after around a week of dreaming about it I was trawling ebay to find one, as it had sold out in store. Much to my dismay it was seeming impossible for me to get my greasy paws on the grey version for below £100, but anyway I finally got this one and love it! Although I have had to get the stitching sorted as the fur is not attatched too wonderfully...
Because it's such an eye-catching peice I thought it'd be best to style it down. I picked up this black blouse from H&M after finishing work on Friday, it was such a bargain at £14.99 and I then got an extra 20% off with their current promotion (for anyone registered with UNIDAYS) so I was extra chuffed, and I mean you can't go wrong with a black blouse can you, definitely a wardrobe staple! I also wore these indigo coloured Topshop Leigh jeans which are awesome for short girls with big bums (like me!) and finally this cute Warehouse necklace, my Vivienne Westwood bag and my beige studded flats (as seen in previous post).
To top it off I wore quite natural make up (as I look like a man in drag if I wear too much), a nude lip and a teeny weeny bit of glitter.

I forgot to mention that I have now hit over 150 page views and 20 followers via bloglovin, it doesn't sound like a lot but considering how long I've had this up and running, I am so greatful for everyone's support keep following guys!

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend!

Most worn jumper

Jumper - River Island
Jeans - Topshop
Necklace - Topshop
Boots - River Island
Faux leather jacket - Zara

So another dull day at uni called for a big comfy cosy knit! This jumper is from last years River Island A/W collection and as soon as I got it I almost never took it off but this year I'd kind of forgotten about it although I have no idea why. Its great for with leggings because it's the kind of length that swings loosely right below your bum, but I like wearing it with the front tucked into my jeans a little bit. I went for a kind of girly grunge style with the rest of my outfit, styling my jumper with ripped topshop jeans that I got in the sale towards the end of last summer. Some River Island slightly heeled and cut out ankle boots and also a Topshop necklace, then finally the obligatory leather jacket.
